Jeff Bezos’ Mom Jackie Dies at 78 After Dementia Battle

Jeff Bezos’ Mom, Jackie Bezosdied following a battle with the dementia of Lewy’s body. She was 78 years old.

The founder of Amazon, 61, confirmed the news through a Instagram tribute article Shared on Thursday August 14.

“Her adult started a little early when she became my mother at the age of 17. It couldn’t have been easy, but she did all of this,” he wrote. “She jumped on the work of loving me ferocity, brought my incredible father to the team a few years later, then added my sister and my brother to her list of people to love, keep and feed. For the rest of his life, this list of people to love has never stopped growing. She has always given much more than she asked. ”

He continued: “After a long fight with the dementia of Lewy’s body, she died today, surrounded by so many of us who loved her – her children, her grandchildren and my father. I know that she felt our love in these last moments. We were all lucky to be in her life. I keep her safe in my heart forever.”

Jeff signed the post, “I love you, mom.”

The Bezos Family Foundation, which was co -founded by Jackie and Jeff, also shared news from his death via a declaration.

Jackie received a dementia of dementia of Lewy’s body in 2020. According to the Mayo clinic, it is the second most common form of dementia and affects its cognitive capacities.

In its declaration, the Foundation described Jackie’s last years as “a quiet final chapter to a life that has taught us all, friends and family, the true sense of grain and determination, kindness and service to others.”
