Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence’s Relationship Timeline
Princess Anne – The only girl from Queen Elizabeth II And Prince Philip – married Sir Timothy Laurence in December 1992.
When the pair initially met in 1986, Anne was still married to her first husband, Mark Phillips, which she married in 1973. (Elle and Phillips welcomed her son Rock in 1977 and his daughter Zara Tindall in 1981.)
Anne and Mark announced their intention to separate before requesting divorce in April 1992. Less than a year later, Anne married Timothy during a small ceremony in Kirk Crathie near the Château de Balmoral in Scotland in December 1992.
Timothy, a retired officer of the Royal Navy, received no royal title after the wedding. However, he was appointed help from Personal camp to fire Queen Elizabeth II in 2008. After Elizabeth died at the age of 96 In September 2022, Anne’s husband attended various events in honor of the late British monarch. He continued to stand alongside his wife in the years that followed.
