Dolores Catania Sought Therapy After Gaining 20 Pounds

In a new interview, however, the star of reality admitted that she had won 20 pounds since the medication would have “stopped working”, which led her to ask for professional help.

While appearing on “Jeff Lewis Live”, Catania, 54, told the host and the old personality of Bravo that she had had difficulties recently with her weight gain.

“I have a lot of trouble right now,” said the mother of two children. “My Mounjaro (also known as Ozempic) stopped working; I won 20 pounds.”

Catania, who became a full -time distribution member during the seventh season of “Rhonj”, continued: “I looked for therapy for all my friends. I really have a bad time with that.”

Elsewhere, during the conversation, Catania told Lewis that she could not try other weight loss drugs because she had “done everything”.

“I stopped taking it for, like a month,” she said, adding that another reason she had to stop the medication was her need to undergo “cardiac removal”-treatment for people with irregular heartbeat.

Catania’s frank comments on her weight have not been the first time that the star of reality spoke publicly about her body. During a previous episode of Andy Cohen“Watch Watch What Happens Live”, the native of the Jersey told Cohen that she had jumped on the “Bandwagon” Ozempic to avoid appearing “greater” than her comrades at a “Rhonj” meeting.

Regarding the side effects of drugs, Catania said that her experience was minimal, noting that her only hunger.

In another interview, Bravo’s veteran shared his enthusiasm about the loss of “20 pounds” with the help of Ozempic, adding that she hoped to reach a weight in the 130s.

“I am realistic,” she continued. “Right now, I am 137 years old. I was 157 when I started.”
