Based on a new report, Luigi Mangione’s birthday meal included a sad range of bland dishes, in particular a fortune special called “breakfast cake”.

According to TmzMangione, who was arrested in December 2024 after Thompson’s death became viral, spent his 27th anniversary behind bars at the Metropolitan detention center in Brooklyn, New York.

However, it was far from a joyful opportunity, especially since the food used to him was as little appetizing as possible.

For breakfast, the alleged shooter was served as fruits, cereals, sugar substitution packets, skim milk and a piece of breakfast. The latter is described as a “similar to a cake” dish generally made up of crushed articles by the prison commissioner.

At lunchtime, Mangione was offered pasta with meat sauce and chickpea marinara, spinach, whole wheat bread, fruit and a drink.

For dinner, he was served a chicken sandwich, a hamburger of chickpeas, steamed rice, pinto beans, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, hamburger bread and a glass.

Mangione’s birthday meal arrives a few days after the 27 -year -old pleaded non -guilty to a serious accusation series, including murder thanks to the use of a firearm.

The judge presiding over his case demanded that all discovery documents be provided in La Défense before May 27.

However, the discovery documents are not all of which Mangione and his legal team must be concerned. In early April 2025, American prosecutor general Bondi announced his intention to ask for corporate sanctions for Mangione if he is found guilty of his accusations.

She said: “The murder by Luigi Mangione by Brian Thompson – an innocent man and father of two young children – was a premeditated composure assassination that shocked America.”

Bondi added: “After careful examination, I ordered federal prosecutors to ask for the death penalty in this case when we realize the agenda of President Trump to arrest violent crimes and make America again secure.”

Mangione’s legal team fights against the request and called it “political, arbitrary, capricious” and “violation of the protocol of established death penalty.

They also wrote in their file: “The issues could not be higher. The American government intends to kill Mr. Mangione as a political blow.”

Bondi’s decision to ask for the death penalty reached after President Donald Trump signed a decree, asking the Attorney General to “continue the death penalty for all gravity crimes demanding its use”.

President Trump Also spoke with frankness of the praise he saw in Mangione on social networks, calling his “terrible” supporters of people with a “disease”.

“I think it’s really terrible that some people seem to admire him, like him,” said Trump. “I was happy to see that it was not specific to this gentleman who was killed. It is just a global disease as opposed to a specific disease … It was a terrible thing. It was composure. Just horrible and horrible murder.”

“And how people can love this guy is a … It’s a disease, in fact,” he added.

“Maybe this is false news,” said Trump. “It seems that there is a certain appetite for him. I do not understand.”

New York police commissioner Jessica Tisch accepted, saying: “We are not celebrating murders, and we do not lion the murder of anyone.”

Mangione would have filmed more than 20 videos of himself having sex before being arrested
