The Accountant 2 Disrespects Christian Wolff’s Cherished Star Wars Collectible
Nine years ago, “the accountant” presented us the meticulous and methodical Christian Wolff by Ben Affleck, a man who not only works as a judicial accountant for criminal organizations but who is also an incredibly qualified assassin of weapons and fighting. Having grown up with a very working form of autism all his life, Wolff has certain features that make him difficult for him to socialize with people in his life, but that also makes him the perfect killer. In 2025, “The accountant 2” (read our opinion) Considers Chris as he tries to live a slightly normal life, living in his metal trailer, trying to improve the dating of speed, but still does not hide books for dangerous people.

“The accountant” (One of the best assassin films) is the place where we are presented to the secret trailer of Chris, in which he keeps an impressive collection of weapons, emergency money, expensive paintings which he has received as payment, and certain precious collectors, such as classic comics, sports cards and a certain science fiction replica of one of the greatest franchises of films of all time. Yes, one of Chris’s precious property is Luke Skywalker’s Laser of “Star Wars”.
We only have an overview of the elegant weapon of a more civilized age, but we know that it is important for him when he tells the character of Anna Kendrick, Dana Cummings, that everything that is important for him is in this trailer. So, Luke’s Laser Saber is one of Chris’s most cherished property, but when he makes a brief appearance in “The Accountant 2”, he is completely lacking in an unhappy decision of the sound service.

Christian Wolff’s lightsaber does not sound correctly
In “The Accountant 2”, Chris realizes that his brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal), a more impetuous and unpredictable assassin, could be useful with a case which was brought to him by the director of the Fincen of the Treasury Department, Marybeth Medina (Cythia Addai-Robinson), after the murder of his predice Ray King (JK Simmons). However, despite the fact that Chris and Braxton had reconnected and linked to the end of the first film, they have not been seen or talked for eight years when “the accountant 2” takes place. This is why Braxton is a little bored when Chris calls him just to ask for his help.

When Chris makes the call, he does not think that Braxton will be upset by their lack of communication all this time, so there is confusion on his side when Braxton hangs up. The relaxed attitude of Chris about everything is shown by playing him with his lightsaber to collect on the phone. He is enlightened and he acts from mind to mind as he speaks to Braxton. After Chris recalled Braxton and the conversation is over, he turned off the lightsaber while sitting like his dining table inside his trailer (which has now become his regular residence). But there is an extremely boring detail on the presence of the lightsaber.
For any reason, be it the lack of permission from Lucasfilm or perhaps the cost, the sound effects used to represent the lightsaber are not the real sounds of the “Star Wars” franchise. This is particularly perceptible when Chris extinguishes the weapon, because the lightsaber has a whistle if known when the shiny blade retracts in the handle.

This lack of attention to detail would have made Christian Wolff Crazy
It may look like an idiotic nitpick, but from my point of view, if you want to take the time to highlight the fact that Chris loves everything in his trailer, and that you are not going to represent One of the most emblematic weapons in the history of science fiction With the appropriate sound effects, so why worry about including it at all? Of course, your average public member who sees “the accountant 2” may not care about it, but it is the lack of attention to the details that is really overwhelming. In fact, it is rather ironic when you consider the fact that this incorrect sound effect would be something that Christian Wolff would not support at all.

Admittedly, there is a chance that the production team has tried to obtain this solid effect, and they simply could not afford it or obtain authorization, but if this is the case, then give Chris something else to play. After all, the lightsaber with which he plays is not really the same as the replica of the propeller illustrated in the first film, which did not come with a luminous blade or the possibility of making sound effects. This means that Christian could have a separate lightsaber with which he likes to play, or once again, the crew assumed that no one would notice the lack of coherence between the Laser Sabers. Anyway, it is a frustrating decision behind the scenes.
“The accountant 2” is now in theaters around the world.
