Mingus lawyer Priya Chaudhry Sunday, August 24, told TMZ that his client had been accused of crimes which “say a lot, and much stronger than the comments in the land of the prosecutor not taken care of”.
“Just as important, the judge released Mingus from his own commitment, without surety or supervision,” added Chaudhry in his declaration. “This important judicial decision amplifies the volume. Mingus is presumed innocent and pleaded not guilty. As the facts emerge, his innocence becomes clear.”

We confirmed on Saturday August 24, that Mingus – Reedus son with ex Helena Christensen – had been custody in New York after an alleged assault. He should appear in court on Tuesday, August 26.
Mingus was already arrested in September 2021 for allegedly assaulted a woman, who said that the model had struck her in the face. He denied allegations, arguing in a statement that he only “throw his arm” into self -defense after the individual seemed to wipe him.
“It was instinct,” said Mingus New York Daily News at the time. “I reacted them embarking on me and I was afraid for the safety of my group. We haven’t thought about it, but these five girls followed us for two houses, throwing us food and we are crying. We told them to leave us alone, but they continued to follow, threatening to injure my girlfriend and her friend. ”
Mingus pleaded guilty of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to five consulting sessions.
