High Potential Season 2 Teases Kaitlin Olson, Steve Howey Dynamic
ABC has just offered the first preview of season 2 of High potential – and some of us have an eye on the newcomer Steve HoweyScenes with Kaitlin Olson.
The network published one more Wednesday August 20, showing the character of Howey, NickSet the hand to shake the hand of Morgan (Olson) in the enclosure. It was previously revealed that Howey will play on season 2 as “a wise political animal which knows how to wear an expensive costume and oozes the charm effortlessly”.
According to the official description of the character, Nick is “a guy who can launch a million fundraising with his smile” and “disturbed tenacity and likes to think outside the box” like Morgan. “He has a way of putting himself in the middle of the action … whether you want there or not,” continues the description.
With Olson, Howey, 48, joined the Costars Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb And Judy Reyes.
High potentialWho will come back this fall, follows Maman of-Three Morgan who teams up with the LAPD to help resolve the murders with his high IQ. She is twinned with the detective Karadec (Sunjata), who is initially skeptical about how Morgan can help the main crime unit but ultimately begins to count on her.
It only took a few episodes to the fans to notice how the dynamics of Karadec and Morgan reminded them of others slow combustion couples on procedural emissions.

“I would certainly say that I do not have the real ultimate answer where they are going to go. In terms of will, they are not between Karadec and Morgan, which depends on the room of our writers,” said Sunjata, 53, exclusively said exclusively US Weekly In November 2024. “I think they will play the long game with this particular story.”
Sunjata did not exclude Karadec and Morgan Platonic remaining for the moment – or even for good.
“Honestly, if we end up getting, as, as, five seasons, Karadec and Morgan could remain very good friends with mutual professional respect that cares deeply with each other and perhaps flirted with the idea of a kind of romantic interaction,” he noted. “But if it never happened, it would be a really cool way to take it too.”
At the time, Sunjata clearly indicated that the fate of the pair belonged to the writers. “I would say that there is certainly a certain electricity between the two. There is a reluctant mutual attraction that occurs,” he added. “But I don’t think we should expect to see something crazy that it happens soon.”
Executive producer and showrunner Todd Harthan gave We A More promising update Three months later.
“You never know. I don’t give up my guard about these things either. I am not too confident as long as your audience dictates a lot of things you do. Why do they have a great appetite? Harthan shared his plans with us for the favorite characters of fans. “I could be sadly famous for slow planning things, but I like a slow burn. Like, selfishly, I love it. “
Season 2 will continue to invest in Morgan and Karadec – that there is a romantic gain.
“We are going to write this for a while. Even if you, at some point, fall in love with someone, maybe you are also more in love with partnership and friendship. And maybe you are sufficiently afraid of crossing certain lines,” Harthan heard. “For me, it’s so fun to play in this space before crossing certain lines. There is a lot of life in this show and I want to make sure that we do it at a pace that does not leave a good story on the table.”
High potential Return to ABC on Tuesday September 16 at 10 p.m. HE before broadcasting the next day on Hulu.
