Influencer Donald Zieben-Hood Arrested After Husband’s Death
Model and influencer Donald Zieben-Hood was arrested after the death of her husband, Jacob Zieben-HoodLast week.
Police took Donald, 40 New York Post reported on Monday August 4.
According to the post, Jacob, 34, had been discovered “on the toilet” and “covered with stabs”. Donald was reserved for first degree burglary, possession of weapons and criminal contempt aggravated for having violated two protective orders preventing him from being near Jacob. He was refused a deposit.
No accusation of murder has been filed, although an investigation into homicides is underway while the forensic doctors determine the cause of death.
The point of sale quoted records as claiming that the couple had a stormy relationship and fought before Jacob’s death. According to prosecutors in court on Sunday, Jacob told his father during a phone call that Donald “came after him” and interrupted him inside the apartment. Jacob’s father could also hear Donald calling his son “derogatory names”, according to court documents obtained by the Job.
A few hours later, the police discovered Jacob’s body marked with stabs on the leg and head, one of which cut an artery and caused fatal bleeding. Donald, by the Jobhad “several cuts on his arms requiring stitches” and “said to the cops that he had had a knife fight in their apartment with Jacob the previous night.”
Donald, a model that has nearly 70,000 Instagram subscribers, alleged the police that he fell asleep after the fight and woke up around 4 a.m. and found her deceased husband. (US Weekly contacted Donald’s lawyer to comment.)
It was the last incident in a model of domestic violence involving Donald as an alleged author. Since 2022, he has been cited in nine domestic incident reports which included Jacob’s allegations that his partner had stifled him and threatened him with a knife. In 2024, Donald was arrested after pretending to hit Jacob at the head and a protective prescription was made, the Job reported.

In February of this year, Donald was arrested for allegedly suffocated Jacob in the middle of a dispute in their apartment. He obtained a deposit of $ 5,000, well below the $ 20,000 that the prosecutors asked, according to the Job.
Weeks later, the police were said to have been called via 911 to the consequences of a fight between Donald and Jacob in which the latter bleed with a cut on his forehead. The pair said at the time that Jacob fell and hit her head.
Then, in June, Donald was arrested once again – this time, to have allegedly brandished a kitchen knife and promising to attack Jacob. While the first faced an accusation that he had broken up a protection prescription, he set off on bail of $ 5,000.
