What happened during this COLDPLAY concert?
Coldplay presented A Kiss Cam, a popular jumbotron promotion during sporting events during their program. The camera moved to Byron and Cabot while Byron seemed to hold it by size. When the two realized that they were in front of the camera, Byron immediately fell to the ground and Cabot covered her face.
Their frantic reactions prompted the leader of the Martin group to wonder aloud if the two had an affair.
“Whoa, look at these two. Okay, go. You’re fine,” said Martin, 48. “Either they have an affair, or they are simply very timid. I don’t really know what to do.”
He added: “Saint S ***. I hope we did not do something wrong.”
The video appeared online by the next morning and quickly became viral, apparently pushed Byron and Cabot to deactivate their Linkedin and Kerrigan Byron pages to deactivate its Facebook account.
What did Byron and Cabot said?
Neither Byron nor Cabot broke their silence on the incident. A statement circulated Thursday which seemed to come from Byron, but the astronomer told TMZ that he was “not real. “Us Weekly contacted both to comment.
What did the astronomer say?
Astronomer published a statement via his LinkedIn page on Friday July 18, announcing that he has launched an investigation in the incident.
“Our leaders should establish the standard in conduct and responsibility,” the statement said. “The board of directors has launched an official investigation into this issue and we will have additional details to share very soon.”
The astronomer also confirmed that the byron declaration circulating the day before was, in fact, false.
