Kaitlin Olson’s Favorite It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Episode Is Perfect
Without the shadow of a doubt, Dee Reynolds of Kaitlin Olson In “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is the only character who receives the hateful, physical and emotional abuses, and the most cruel jokes imaginable about his appearance, her personality, and literally everything she does. It is not that she does not deserve it – Dee is just as malicious, selfish and manipulative as the rest of the gang – but sometimes, it is legitimate crushing (although always hilarious) to see the character suffer from degrading insults and repugnant atrocities.
However, there is a particular episode in which Dee has just enough and can no longer take constant reprimand and condescension, in a spiral in deep depression and excessive disgust. However, the opening of season 9, “The Gang Broke Dee”, is also the episode where the character apparently manages to be recognized by relying on his own misery, withdrawing a brief, unlikely but successful career as a standing actor.
Curiously, Olson appointed this episode his favorite (among many others) in the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast by Kylie Kelce, where she appeared as the first guest of all time Last December. Admittedly, Kelce did not see a single episode of the program FX – which is both strange and almost impossible for someone who is married to Travis Kelce – and asked the actress the essential episodes she likes the most. Olson said: “I really like, like selfishly” the gang broke Dee “, it’s really fun”, adding that “we have done so many people of which I don’t even remember the names of the episodes, I just remember the scene.” Well, if you have seen it, you probably will Remember forever because she is a hoe.
“ The broken gang dee ‘is a culmination of absolute character
“The broken gang” begins with Dee eating a cup cake She was at some point). She has completely renounced life and retaliated against the Jibes who come from Dennis (Glenn Howrton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob Mcelhenney) and Frank (Danny Devito) on a daily basis. The gang is unstable by her depression, because it is no longer satisfactory to make fun of her if she refuses to defend herself. So, they try to breathe a certain life in her by signing her for an open evening in a comedy club. And as eccentric as it may seem, they will in fact support it this time.
The joke is on them, because Dee kills. Her act of self-debt resonates with the public while also helping not to gag on stage, which happened every time she was nervous. Shortly after, she was picked up by a manager, landing her several concerts which further from his ascent as an actor, finally becoming a discreet star who has the opportunity to be a guest at the Popular Talk show “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” The gang really supports her, with the exception of Dennis, who does her best to cancel the triumph of her sister. Naturally, the minute DEE realizes what she has accomplished and the famous she has become, her self-sabotage trends start to start ruining everything that could come to her.
But before they did it, we learn at the end of the episode that everything was an imposture. It is another cruel farce that the gang fired on it, hiring a bunch of people to play, so that they can make fun and make fun of it as they normally. The episode works well and hilarious, but more importantly, it gives Olson the opportunity to enhance its actor and comic chops, passing in an emotional journey from the miserable to hope to again insufficiently self -centered. And she welcomes it every minute, making a show for ages. It is not a surprise “the broken gang” is the favorite of Olson.
