Why The New Hiccup Actor Looks So Familiar
A new version of “How to Train Your Dragon” arrives in theaters this week, and with it comes a new Viking-in-The-Chicup Haddock III. Originally expressed by Jay Baruchel, Hiccup is the strange duckling of the island of Berk, whose inhabitants spend their days repel the dragons who try to take their sheep or their rain fire on the house of these residents of Oafish. For the second version of Dean Deblois in this story (he directed the original animated film in 2010, and also made this live version), a brand new hiccups was responsible for the appearance of the beloved poster animal of the franchise, and this time, he played by the 17 year old actor Mason Thames.
It is not only learning to train dragons that appear on the list of Thame tasks, however. The singer of the film tests the fires of one of the many supporters is one of the largest trilogies ever made (this fan included). Fortunately, like all the other actors in this live iteration of the film, Thames is perfectly sunk for the role and does an excellent job by playing Hiccup, clearly indicating that if DreamWorks adapts the whole trilogy on which this franchise is based, it will be able to manage things. Honestly, however, this should not be surprising, because after taking care of a children’s killer with the help of Gents Dead Kid Ghosts in one of the most impressive horror films of recent years, Taming Dragons should not really be so difficult.
Mason Thames obtained an escape role when he faced the Grabber in the black phone
While the fire trials, Mason Thames faced an extremely difficult element when he played in One of the best horror films of 2022“The black phone.” Thames portrayed a school child with soft manners called Finney, who endures a nightmarish experience after being kidnapped by an elusive and dreaded abductor known as Grabber (Ethan Hawke). Without an escape in sight, Finney’s only hope lies in the mysterious calls he receives from a black phone disconnected on the wall of his prison. To his horror, these calls come from the old victims of the Grabber who are not released alive and are now lost forever, but are determined to ensure that Finney is not the next to join them.
Winning $ 161.4 million at the box office against a budget of $ 18 million, “The Black Phone” was a success with the public and criticism, realizing An 81% note on rotten tomatoes. / Film also praised the young starBy saying: “Mason Thames absolutely makes him get out of the park here, carrying the film with confidence and a feeling of reality you need for the supernatural things to hit at home.” The Thames kept its own agates alongside a frightening and unpredictable Hawke, making sure it was only a matter of time before it appears in a large blockbuster like “how to train your dragon”. What could shock some, however, is that the young star returns to the world of “The Black Phone” with “Black Phone 2” later arriving this year.
2025 is the year of Mason Thames with how to train your dragon and your black phone 2
As revealed in The last trailer of the suiteDeath is only a word, and that that Ethan Hawke’s horrible child killer, Grabber seems to easily overcome in “Black Phone 2.” Scheduled for the release during the pruning for prime hours, the new film will see Finney de Thames revisiting the horrors that he was forced to endure alongside his mysteriously good sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw). By making calls beyond the grave, the monstrous villain of Hawke somehow won the phone and is determined to never let go of his victim who fled.
How it will take place in “Black Phone 2” has not yet been revealed, because Derrickson and his longtime scripting partner, C. Robert Cargill, go outside the little story they have adapted. Nevertheless, this gives Thames more screen time to show what kind of talent he has and prove that he is totally capable of managing not one, but two franchises the same year. Dragons, disturbed psycho -killers of the dead, you call it – the Thames can manage everything. You can witness it by yourself when “how to train your dragon” goes up in theaters this week on June 13, 2025, and “Black Phone 2” called on October 17, 2025.
