Jonah Hill Almost Starred In One Of The Best Crime Thrillers Of The 2010s

The brothers and directors Josh and Benny Safdie had a long journey to make their 2019 thriller “Uncut Gems”, who finally played Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner, jeweler and game addict which is put in place above his head. Hill ended up taking care of working on his beginnings as a director, “Mid90s” (Read our criticism here), then work on the Science Fiction miniseries Trippy Netflix “Maniac”, so the Safdies were back to the drawing board. Fortunately, enough time had spent that Sandler was available, they interested him and the rest is the history of cinema.
